The Dumoulins come home
A couple who vanished in 1942 was found in the retreating Tsanfleuron Glacier, 75 years later.

On 15 August 1942, Marcelin and Francine Dumoulin left Chandolin above Savièse to feed their cattle and never returned. They left seven children.
On 14 July 2017 a worker found their bodies near a ski lift on the Tsanfleuron Glacier, at about 2,600 m, still in their wartime clothes. They were buried in Savièse that summer. Their youngest daughter told reporters the family had spent their whole lives looking for them.
